Anier Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sucre FC's Anier Oliveiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sucre FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Augusto Gurutz sped through Sucre FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anier Oliveiro. After some careless play in the DTV SPORT defense, Hector Rumaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Estebano. The DTV SPORT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Estebano should have stopped the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Norberto Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DTV SPORT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Patrido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, DTV SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Gaxan came free, but Fausto Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Criston struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Anier Oliveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DTV SPORT. Anier Oliveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Bertol in the 42nd minute of the match. Anier Oliveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Criston, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Gaxan to make the kick off. Augusto Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Oliveiro having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Gualterio Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Oliveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Bertol took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Oliveiro. Anier Oliveiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A collision led to Sucre FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Agustin Mikelar hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Criston in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oliveiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Gurutz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anier Oliveiro having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Criston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Oliveiro was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Augusto Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Oliveiro having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sucre FC defense, Augusto Gurutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Oliveiro. The Sucre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Oliveiro should have stopped the shot. If Augusto Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
