The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gualterio Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Benedito Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Faustino Jordy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Estebano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rolando Javiar made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gualterio Criston sent off a good shot on target. After 16 played minutes DTV SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Criston. When Lázaro Dominic came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Alvariño AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Dominic couldn't finish the play. Rolando Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Patrido hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Alvariño AFC's Lázaro Dominic got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Alvariño AFC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Alvariño AFC's Lázaro Dominic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alvariño AFC's Lázaro Dominic got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The DTV SPORT players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alvariño AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Diaz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Diaz in the 53rd minute of play forced DTV SPORT's goalkeeper Fausto Estebano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alvariño AFC's zone, Ovidio Bertol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Javiar came out of the goal and Ovidio Bertol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Gualterio Criston made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Javiar. Alvariño AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to DTV SPORT getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Benedito Freitas hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Faustino Jordy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Estebano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Diaz in the 63rd minute of play forced DTV SPORT's goalkeeper Fausto Estebano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Gualterio Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Alvariño AFC defense, Augusto Gurutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Javiar. The Alvariño AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Javiar should have stopped the shot. Aristides Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fausto Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Javiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Gurutz's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Alvariño AFC's Rolando Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Criston in the 76th minute of play. Faustino Jordy made a great header on Alvariño AFC's corner, it was just that DTV SPORT's Fausto Estebano managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Criston in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Javiar saved Alvariño AFC from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Alvariño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Criston came free, but Rolando Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DTV SPORT's Gualterio Criston got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Alvariño AFC booed when DTV SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. DTV SPORT's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
