Spectators: 7002 (Terracing: 5359, Seating: 1643, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ramiro Raphael got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th match minute, Guayatayoc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Wiklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Cristian Dolfo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Etxahun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Conrado Etxahun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Ado in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Guayatayoc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Rainerio came free, but Conrado Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Orbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Club Atletico Matete's Gaudencio Fernanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Matete from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Guayatayoc FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Min. After 27 minutes of play, Club Atletico Matete's Jorge Ado made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Etxahun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Guayatayoc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Ado came free, but Conrado Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Club Atletico Matete's Jorge Ado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Etxahun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Conrado Etxahun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Orbiz went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Matete's goalkeeper Gaudencio Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Raphael. The Guayatayoc FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Matete were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Ismael Orbiz made the kick off in the second half. Ismael Orbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Matete's zone, Ramiro Raphael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Fernanco came out of the goal and Ramiro Raphael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaudencio Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Raphael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Matete defense, Ramiro Raphael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Fernanco. The Club Atletico Matete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Fernanco should have stopped the shot. Gaudencio Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Cordareo in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Club Atletico Matete's Ismael Orbiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conrado Etxahun. Conrado Etxahun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Conrado Etxahun made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Jorge Ado sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Jorge Ado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Etxahun. Guayatayoc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. After 87 minutes, Ismael Orbiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Matete and the Guayatayoc FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismael Orbiz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Orlando Cordareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gaudencio Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Orbiz in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Etxahun saved Guayatayoc FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Jorge Ado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Matete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. The Club Atletico Matete players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
