After 19 minutes of play, recoboca's Jonathan Reno made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Veteranos al Azar's Julian Cordaro got control of the ball when Jonathan Reno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermegildo Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Rozarius having to interfere. Ermegildo Beltxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Rozarius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Beltxe ran back to his position shaking his head. recoboca's Leandro Rozarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Salvino in the 40th minute of play. Ermegildo Beltxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Leandro Rozarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, one of recoboca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 51 played minutes Veteranos al Azar got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Chaime. 53 minutes into the match, recoboca's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Beltxe came free, but Leandro Rozarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Rufo in the 54th minute of play forced Veteranos al Azar's goalkeeper Julian Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Chaime made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ermegildo Beltxe immediately put the ball in play.
