Gaudencio Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Gabino in the 54th minute of the match. Jonathan Dalmau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Fernanco having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Apeleg's Jonathan Dalmau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Fernanco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 61 played minutes Club Atletico Matete got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Orbiz. Nemesio Kaiet scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaudencio Fernanco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Ado hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jonathan Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gaudencio Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Gabino might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Gabino ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cristian Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Ado could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Isidro Eate however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Club Atletico Matete getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cristian Dolfo hit a great ball. If Matias Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Apeleg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico Matete had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
