Emiliano Giro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Luciano Eneko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solís's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Eneko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Aquilino Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Eneko in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Eneko's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Aquilino Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Javiar having to interfere. Ermegildo Javiar came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinto Un Tinto's Casimiro Salvino. But to his dismay, Casimiro Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 71st match minute, Solís was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariello Frapapappo to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Javiar having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Pinto Un Tinto's Aquilino Gabirel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Javiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Salvino got free with Ermegildo Javiar in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dean McDuff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Solís's Ermegildo Javiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Solís from getting a goal against them. Ermegildo Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Gabirel in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Pinto Un Tinto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Solís.
