Guido Segio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Igor Chorche came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Los Pachorras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Chorche couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, Anier Meder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ramiro Rameriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anier Meder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Rameriz having to make a save. Ramiro Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes, Erubiel Itzaina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pachorras FC and the AZUL FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Chorche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelino Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Chorche in the 59th minute of the match.
