He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Froilan Elorri. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Froilan Elorri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Froilan Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Leandro Berenguer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Elorri. WASKAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Berenguer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfredo Gaitano made the kick off in the second half. When Xacintu Villarias fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WASKAS's protests and gave Xacintu Villarias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fernet Branca FC booed when WASKAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xacintu Villarias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Arias's late challenge caught a Fernet Branca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Fernet Branca FC's zone, Bruno Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Muc replaced Alfredo Gaitano. Fernet Branca FC's Leandro Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fernet Branca FC's Leo Ladio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Nemesio Tallia struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Feliciano Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WASKAS. Fernet Branca FC's Feliciano Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Fernet Branca FC from getting a goal against them. Froilan Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Berenguer in the 79th minute of the match. Christian Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Bitxintxo during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raul Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Adolfo Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fernet Branca FC had played much better football throughout.
