Baldomiro Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Feliciano Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Meder in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Meder to make the kick off. Ciriaco Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Jaen having to interfere.
