After 12 played minutes Cañani FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Paz. Lázaro Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Lázaro Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Erdiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Gai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Celestino Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Nikola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Gai in the 39th minute. Elpidio Gai in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Nikola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46th minute, Eustaquio Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Gai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Celestino Nikola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Gai was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Distiratsu in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Nikola saved Varvarco AFC from getting behind. Celestino Nikola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Gai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Erdiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Elpidio Gai came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Cañani FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Gai couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Elpidio Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Nikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes, Marcial Barea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varvarco AFC and the Cañani FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cañani FC booed when Varvarco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Barea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Eyague kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Marcial Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Cañani FC's Evelio Eyague in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Gai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celestino Nikola was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Varvarco AFC defense, Elpidio Gai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Nikola. The Varvarco AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Nikola should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Varvarco AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Agustin Heli hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Elpidio Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Nikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Elpidio Gai sped through Varvarco AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celestino Nikola. After some careless play in the Varvarco AFC defense, Julio Distiratsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Nikola. The Varvarco AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Nikola should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cañani FC fully deserved thier win.
