German Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Gai in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Malvinas Argentinas FC booed when Cañani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Eyague didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Gai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but German Vergaray made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Julio Distiratsu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving German Vergaray. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Julio Distiratsu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Elpidio Gai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving German Vergaray. That made the score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. Elpidio Gai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but German Vergaray firmly grabbed it by the left post. German Vergaray was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Elpidio Gai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio Gai really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Julio Distiratsu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of German Vergaray when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
