The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Guerau got free with Nicolae Coposu in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Edgard Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Coposu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Solustiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Fidencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Solustiano ran back to his position shaking his head. After 10 minutes, Celedonio Abadia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Energía AFC and the FORD MUSTANG CITY players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Celedonio Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolae Coposu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to FORD MUSTANG CITY getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mateo Guerau hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes FORD MUSTANG CITY got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Nikola. The audience was convinced that Jose Solustiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modesto Fidencio was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Edgard Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Solustiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Energía AFC booed when FORD MUSTANG CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Donostia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Celestino Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Isaac Nikola took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nicolae Coposu to make any attempt to save it. Modesto Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Solustiano in the 40th minute of play. When Maximo Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Energía AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. Jose Solustiano struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Modesto Fidencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Energía AFC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Castel to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgard Castel took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolae Coposu. Nicolae Coposu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 66 played minutes FORD MUSTANG CITY got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Nikola. Jose Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes FORD MUSTANG CITY got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Nikola. Jose Solustiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Modesto Fidencio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FORD MUSTANG CITY's zone, Maximo Bitxintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Fidencio came out of the goal and Maximo Bitxintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Modesto Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Ulises Blasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FORD MUSTANG CITY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 90th minute Edgard Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Coposu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Opilano hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Energía AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FORD MUSTANG CITY had won, even though Energía AFC had held more of the ball.
