Marco Trent didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Los pibes del don bosco's goalkeeper Atilano Guillelmus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Felipo. Fernando Felipo had several of the Los pibes del don bosco's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Atilano Guillelmus as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fernando Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Atilano Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 曹俊天 during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thijs Ponk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Los pibes del don bosco's 曹俊天 got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Los pibes del don bosco's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Felipo came free, but Atilano Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Maciej Skrzypiec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Atilano Guillelmus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RIVER's Cecilio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Chepe in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Godofredo Benet suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 曹俊天 was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Fernando Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Los pibes del don bosco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER the free kick. Nestor Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Ubaldo Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88thth minute of the game Fernando Felipo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los pibes del don bosco's Atilano Guillelmus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Aureliano Loren fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los pibes del don bosco's protests and gave Aureliano Loren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los pibes del don bosco getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Aureliano Loren hit a great ball. Ubaldo Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Atilano Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Guillelmus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Felipo's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Ubaldo Medardo made a precise shot to the right of Atilano Guillelmus. Los pibes del don bosco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the RIVER players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
