Spectators: 6911 (Terracing: 5289, Seating: 1622, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nunez Demesio kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Macario in the 6th minute of play forced Guzmán FC's goalkeeper Ulises Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ulises Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Jeremias Araoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venancio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edelmiro Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Firmin in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Haritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Baldomero Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guzmán FC's Ulises Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Demesio in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Ilixo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Haritz saved Venancio from getting behind. After 63 played minutes Venancio got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Abajas. 67 minutes into the match, Venancio's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Firmin came free, but Enrique Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Baldomero Firmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Guzmán FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Anselmo Ilixo hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Venancio's Teo Oro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulises Gombal. Ulises Gombal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Nunez Demesio took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Ulises Gombal to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Araoz got free with Ulises Gombal in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremias Araoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ulises Gombal made a huge save. Anselmo Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Enrique Haritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Teo Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venancio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Oro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
