Spectators: 7082 (Terracing: 5344, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 100) Napaleofú's Igor Solarek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Roque Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Roque Ibar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pastor Venerando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 20 minutes, Igor Solarek made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. la naranja mecanica's Luciano Manuelo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Christian Macerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Igor Solarek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napaleofú's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Solarek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Manuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in la naranja mecanica's zone, Igor Solarek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Manuelo came out of the goal and Igor Solarek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Lima in the 40th minute of the match. Luciano Manuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Eduardo Lima in the 41st minute. A collision led to la naranja mecanica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bruno Papo hit a great ball. Felix Lucero's late challenge caught a Napaleofú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Lucero helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Urdaspal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Eduardo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Melquiades Urdaspal managed to get in a good position for a shot. la naranja mecanica's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Urdaspal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Venerando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Papo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Papo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Lima in the 65th minute of play forced la naranja mecanica's goalkeeper Luciano Manuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Manuelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Dabi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Napaleofú's Igor Solarek in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye la naranja mecanica's goalie prevented a goal. If Melquiades Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Manuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Solarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Igor Solarek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Manuelo. la naranja mecanica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Solarek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. With a little luck, Napaleofú's Pastor Venerando got control of the ball when Roque Ibar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Napaleofú's Nicanor Luar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Carlos Eduardo Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Napaleofú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Napaleofú players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
