The audience was convinced that Genaro Sayveon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Austin was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After some careless play in the CDT La Nueva Generación defense, Segundo Mero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Haimar. The CDT La Nueva Generación fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Haimar should have stopped the shot. The CDT La Nueva Generación players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 4º dimension were winning 1-3.

After a rather tough play, CDT La Nueva Generación's Genaro Sayveon got a free kick in the 55th minute. Maximiliano Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Segundo Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Austin having to interfere. The 4º dimension supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 4º dimension would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
