Anton Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ekain in the 5th minute of the match. JuAnChI FC's German Paz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save JuAnChI FC from getting a goal against them. Emilio Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, JuAnChI FC's Gustavo Lluques got a free kick in the 13th minute. Carlos Hartz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. German Paz came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Hartz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Ferro Carril Oeste were furious when Venancio Mano was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for JuAnChI FC. Hector Ekain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anton Fribäck. 1-1. In the 25th minute, Natalio Abascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JuAnChI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Emilio Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Isadore in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, JuAnChI FC's Gustavo Lluques got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Baltasar Cefero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferro Carril Oeste fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Emilio Isadore struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. German Paz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferro Carril Oeste. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

German Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Cefero in the 52nd minute of play. Anton Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Abascal in the 55th minute of play. Anton Fribäck made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Augusto Cordareo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as JuAnChI FC's Augusto Cordareo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Fribäck. That made the score 2-3 after 57 minutes of play. Natalio Abascal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Anton Fribäck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. German Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Isadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Emilio Isadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. German Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, JuAnChI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Cefero came free, but German Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Augusto Cordareo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the JuAnChI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Cordareo couldn't finish the play. German Paz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ferro Carril Oeste's Emilio Isadore. But to his dismay, Emilio Isadore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Baltasar Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Paz having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
