If Tanek Pawelczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manojo de Garra's Juan Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Pirro in the 40th minute of play. If Efrain Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Gartzea made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Roman Honesto sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Manojo de Garra's Ramiro Teyo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Gartzea. Humberto Gartzea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Teyo was the one to do the kick off. Humberto Gartzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Honesto went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Defensores de Ballester's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Manojo de Garra had won, even though Defensores de Ballester had held more of the ball.
