After 8 minutes of play, Claromeco's Claudio Elazar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slavey Danailov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaizki Alacuart's late challenge caught a Luzuriaga AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaizki Alacuart helped the player get up and apologised. Lucas Rodas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wellington Secco firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Luzuriaga AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Esteve Monico hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Samuel Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slavey Danailov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhonatan Maidana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Luzuriaga AFC's Lucas Rodas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wellington Secco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wellington Secco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
