In the 19th minute Feliciano Arano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Liberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Florencio Elazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Humildad y Talento the free kick. After 22 played minutes Colola got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Elazar. With an all-out effort, Humildad y Talento's Evelio Liberto threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvaldo Peli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Humildad y Talento booed when Colola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Colola's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Arano came free, but Evelio Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Humildad y Talento booed when Colola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Chano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Feliciano Arano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evelio Liberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Guillelmus went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Osvaldo Peli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evelio Liberto having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Leonel Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Osvaldo Peli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Liberto skillfully saved the ball.

Evelio Liberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Janusz Januš made an important save on a dangerous shot by German Ignado in the 67th minute. Leonel Ferdinand thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Evelio Liberto, a very annoying self made goal in the 87th minute which led to 4-0. A collision led to Humildad y Talento getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Elias Lucero hit a great ball. Feliciano Arano scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Liberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Humildad y Talento's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
