In the 42nd minute, Domingos Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Paso a Paso's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Garin came free, but Roberto Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Gygax to make the kick off. Roberto Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 89 played minutes Paso a Paso got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Min. In the 95th minute Narciso Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Hats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paso a Paso's Roberto Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Rafe in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over ELE de Larrivey could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paso a Paso throughout the match.
