Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 120) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oscar Socorro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Benavides FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Lesardo to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Hori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acorazados Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benavides FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Acorazados Football Club's Osvaldo Hori got a free kick in the 8th minute. Amado Rutenio came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Acorazados Football Club's Osvaldo Hori. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Hori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Acorazados Football Club's Osvaldo Hori nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Rutenio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Benavides FC booed when Acorazados Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, one of Acorazados Football Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Efrain Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Generoso Lesardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Acorazados Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Lara came free, but Mauro Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Lesardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Ulizes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Efrain Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Ulizes made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Generoso Lesardo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Acorazados Football Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Octavio Tanio hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efrain Lara to make the kick off. Amado Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Guerrero in the 58th minute of play. If Generoso Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Lara in the 63rd minute of play forced Acorazados Football Club's goalkeeper Mauro Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Generoso Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Efrain Lara notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Acorazados Football Club's Mauro Ulizes. Mauro Ulizes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Lara in the 90th minute of play forced Acorazados Football Club's goalkeeper Mauro Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Lara struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Mauro Ulizes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benavides FC. If Generoso Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benavides FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Acorazados Football Club to leave the ground with a draw.
