But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Berart couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Miguel Florin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Abalos charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Abalos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Benavides FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Abalos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Abalos in the 23rd minute of play forced atlas's goalkeeper Miguel Florin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Cipriano Abalos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of atlas's Miguel Florin. Bernabe Hernando helped the player get up and apologised. 53 minutes into the game, one of Benavides FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. atlas's Miguel Florin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Abalos in the 62nd minute of play. Luis Vasco's late challenge caught a Benavides FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Many of Benavides FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Benavides FC may have spent more time on the ball, but atlas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
