After 14th play minutes Alonzo Videl shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Raimundo Raymond and just under the crossbar into goal. 19 minutes into the match, Álamos's goalkeeper Raimundo Raymond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Videl. Romulo Montxo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Montxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Álamos's Romulo Montxo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alonzo Videl kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Raimundo Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Videl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Paulo Eriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Álamos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storni the free kick. Paulo Eriz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Raimundo Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Lehoi in the 34th minute of play. Alonzo Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Raimundo Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alonzo Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44th play minutes Prospero Lehoi shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Raimundo Raymond and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Romulo Montxo made the kick off in the second half. Romulo Montxo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Raimundo Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Videl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Alonzo Videl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Storni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Raimundo Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Lehoi in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Videl in the 74th minute of play forced Álamos's goalkeeper Raimundo Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Storni made a substitution. Ricardo Eguntsenti replaced Octavio Sol. Alonzo Videl struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Raimundo Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storni. Alonzo Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Lehoi in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Raymond saved Álamos from getting behind. After having played for 94 minutes, Prospero Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Álamos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
