Alonzo Videl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Cordairo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Lehoi in the 20th minute of play forced Ferreyra's goalkeeper Gonzalo Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Ferreyra got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Silviano. 28 minutes into the match, Storni's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Jaen came free, but Fabrizio Tullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Storni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriana Faron to maneuver through the defense. Fabrizio Tullo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ferreyra's Haroldo Bernad. But to his dismay, Haroldo Bernad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Storni were furious when Baldomiro Abecia was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 41 minutes into the game, Alonzo Videl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gonzalo Cordairo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alonzo Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Justo Jaen made the kick off in the second half. Gonzalo Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Videl in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Prospero Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Alonzo Videl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Cordairo. Ferreyra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonzo Videl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alonzo Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storni's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Videl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Storni's Alonzo Videl got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Alonzo Videl fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Gonzalo Cordairo. After 64 played minutes, Storni's Rigoberto Piorno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonzalo Cordairo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Storni reached it. Alonzo Videl might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Cordairo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Videl ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Lehoi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Cordairo saved Ferreyra from getting behind. When Alonzo Videl came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Storni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Videl couldn't finish the play. Storni's Ricardo Eguntsenti was substituted for Octavio Sol. Gonzalo Cordairo had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Prospero Lehoi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ferreyra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rigoberto Piorno was slow to take the kick. During this time Storni's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Storni's Rigoberto Piorno to fire away a dangerous shot which Gonzalo Cordairo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alonzo Videl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Cordairo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Prospero Lehoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Confesor's late challenge caught a Storni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Confesor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ferreyra's Isaac Confesor got a free kick in the 81st minute. Storni made a substitution. Siro Telesforo replaced Adriana Faron. In the 82nd minute, Isaac Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Cordairo having to interfere. Alonzo Videl scored 2-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzalo Cordairo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Storni's Prospero Lehoi got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Prospero Lehoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Cordairo was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Storni played a much better game than Ferreyra and deserved their victory. The Ferreyra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
