Rene Innocenzio came out of the goal and Isidro Serapio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Club Sportivo Santa Clara getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Julian Eusko hit a great ball. Rene Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Rayman in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Sportivo Santa Clara booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Innocenzio having to interfere. 齐伟克 scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Bortzaioriz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute of the match, 齐伟克 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adan Bortzaioriz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 32 minutes, Albano Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Rayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Albano Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 齐伟克 was the one to do the kick off. Alfonso Dominix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rene Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Isidro Serapio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Romulo Veremundo made a precise shot to the right of Adan Bortzaioriz. Rosario Central's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 64th match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Dominix to maneuver through the defense. When Jairo Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Club Sportivo Santa Clara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Vidal couldn't finish the play. Albano Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Medero to maneuver through the defense. Adan Bortzaioriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 齐伟克 in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 齐伟克 in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Bortzaioriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Serapio. Silverio Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Innocenzio having to interfere.
