If Isidro Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Dominix got free with Leonel Belarmo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Berdaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Bernardo Basajaun notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rosario Central's Adan Bortzaioriz. Adan Bortzaioriz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rene Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Alfonso Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Dominix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Belarmo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Basajaun was the one to do the kick off. Albano Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Belarmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Dominix went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Leonel Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Dominix in the 66th minute of the match. Alfonso Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso Dominix scored 4-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Belarmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tricao Malal's Leonel Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Rayman in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tricao Malal's zone, Alfonso Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Belarmo came out of the goal and Alfonso Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosario Central's Alfonso Dominix got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Dominix in the 78th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Rosario Central players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
