Spectators: 6998 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guido Honrio kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Guido Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th match minute, LoS cHiKoS deL MAiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Odol to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Montez got free with Edelmiro Reyes in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Frechoso struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gaudencio Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivo. Delmar Montezs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Edelmiro Reyes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Delmar Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Reyes was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Guido Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gaudencio Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, LoS cHiKoS deL MAiz's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Frechoso came free, but Gaudencio Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LoS cHiKoS deL MAiz booed when Olivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Guido Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Honrio in the 40th minute of play forced LoS cHiKoS deL MAiz's goalkeeper Gaudencio Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Olivo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after William Neto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edelmiro Reyes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Montez's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Montez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delmar Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Reyes having to interfere. Edelmiro Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Delmar Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edelmiro Reyes having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Olivo's zone, Delmar Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Reyes came out of the goal and Delmar Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edelmiro Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adolfo Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Donostia struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Edelmiro Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Olivo's Edelmiro Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Montez in the 71st minute of play. William Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, one of LoS cHiKoS deL MAiz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LoS cHiKoS deL MAiz. 86 minutes into the match, Olivo's goal looked a bit too open when William Neto came free, but Edelmiro Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Delmar Montez made a precise shot to the right of Edelmiro Reyes. Olivo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Olivo's zone, Delmar Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Reyes came out of the goal and Delmar Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Odol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Reyes having to interfere. Olivo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though LoS cHiKoS deL MAiz had controlled the match.
