Bondiola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kılıç Öztaylan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Amaya in the 26th minute of play forced Bondiola FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helmuth Dirks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Firman having to make a save. In the 70th minute Arnoldo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Firman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Lauro in the 72nd minute of the match.
