The referee ignored Club Atletico Uvita Salto's protests and gave Ezequiel Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. Ezequiel Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Nicasio Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nemesio Peru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Irrintzi came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Tres Leones FC's Emiliano Larpe. But to his dismay, Emiliano Larpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Emiliano Larpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Irrintzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Los Tres Leones FC booed when Club Atletico Uvita Salto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Emiliano Larpe sped through Club Atletico Uvita Salto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Narciso Irrintzi. Narciso Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Moura in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atletico Uvita Salto's goalkeeper Narciso Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Narciso Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Larpe to make the kick off. Rafael Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Emiliano Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
