Club Atletico Uvita Salto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Mona F.C the free kick. In the 2nd minute, Vladimiro Manny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinícius Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Irrintzi having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, La Mona F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Fortun came free, but Nestor Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Zacarias Frederico managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mona F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Frederico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Irrintzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Atletico Uvita Salto's Narciso Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Benvido in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Nicasio Fortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Mona F.C's Nestor Berasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Valery in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Uvita Salto's Nicasio Fortun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestor Berasko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Teyo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Mona F.C's Bernardino Teyo got a free kick in the 25th minute. With his leg Narciso Irrintzi managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when La Mona F.C's Zacarias Frederico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. During the 37th minute of the match Bernardino Teyo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardino Teyo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bernardino Teyo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of La Mona F.C booed when Club Atletico Uvita Salto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes of play Club Atletico Uvita Salto's Vladimiro Manny was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico Uvita Salto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Robustiano Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Narciso Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Robustiano Loramendi made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Loramendi in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Berasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Club Atletico Uvita Salto's Narciso Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Loramendi in the 67th minute of play. Narciso Irrintzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Loramendi's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, La Mona F.C's goalkeeper Nestor Berasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Valery. Narciso Irrintzi came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by La Mona F.C's Vinícius Machado. But to his dismay, Vinícius Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. La Mona F.C's Vinícius Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of La Mona F.C booed when Club Atletico Uvita Salto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel George didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Robustiano Loramendi put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Narciso Irrintzi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Aires in the 94th minute of play forced La Mona F.C's goalkeeper Nestor Berasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Mona F.C had won after a very even match.
