When Andres Raymundo fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZUL Y ORO FC's protests and gave Andres Raymundo a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AZUL Y ORO FC's zone, Santos Constancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Veronica came out of the goal and Santos Constancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Casimiro Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Achupallas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Cordairo couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Casimiro Cordairo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Veronica was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Casimiro Cordairo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Evaristo Veronica when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Evaristo Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Constancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Casimiro Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Evaristo Veronica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Casimiro Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59thth minute of the game Casimiro Cordairo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AZUL Y ORO FC's Evaristo Veronica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th match minute, AZUL Y ORO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Maurin to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Evaristo Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Cordairo in the 73rd minute of play.
