In the 4th match minute, Bonpland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Silban to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes, Severiano Garaile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mathew AFC and the Bonpland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mathew AFC's goalkeeper Filomeno Iyan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ksawery Kaczeniak made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 6thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Filomeno Iyan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Severiano Garaile was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 8 minutes had been played. In the 12th minute Filomeno Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathew AFC's Simon Jaunzuria suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ivan Silban got his second yellow card in the match during the 13th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 14th minute, Ivan Silban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Felipillo's late challenge caught a Bonpland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Felipillo helped the player get up and apologised. Christian Felipillo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Apolo Cordarell came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bonpland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Cordarell couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bonpland's Adriana Joanes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Amado Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriana Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Filomeno Iyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Apolo Cordarell came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Bonpland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Cordarell couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Apolo Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Eate was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bonpland's zone, Filomeno Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Marz came out of the goal and Filomeno Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes Bonpland got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Kaczeniak. Filomeno Arias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 57th playminute. If Ismael Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Cordarell in the 68th minute of play forced Mathew AFC's goalkeeper Filomeno Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mathew AFC's zone, Ksawery Kaczeniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Iyan came out of the goal and Ksawery Kaczeniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Iyan having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Bonpland got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Otsoko. Ismael Eate struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Epifanio Marz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mathew AFC. When Christian Felipillo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th minute, Christian Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes of play, Bonpland's Ksawery Kaczeniak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Iyan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hipolito Lano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Iyan having to make a save. Epifanio Marz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Neto in the 91st minute. Teo Quintun fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 93rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
