Ferruccio Trinca started the match with the kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Segundo Fiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lanus's Ferruccio Trinca got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Tximitx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jonas Omero made a huge save. 12 minutes into the game, Celedonio Montez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Domínguez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanus the free kick. A collision led to Domínguez getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Celedonio Montez hit a great ball. Celestino Tximitx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Domínguez's goalkeeper Jonas Omero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Celedonio Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferruccio Trinca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonas Omero made a huge save. Jonas Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Trinca, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Domínguez's Jonas Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Trinca in the 34th minute of play. Jonas Omero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferruccio Trinca in the 37th minute. Segundo Fiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Omero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ferruccio Trinca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Omero having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Veto came free, but Delmiro Tanio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Veto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Segundo Fiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonas Omero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Segundo Fiz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Lanus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Fiz couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Ubaldo Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Celedonio Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ferruccio Trinca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Segundo Fiz came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lanus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Fiz couldn't finish the play. Ferruccio Trinca struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jonas Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanus. Jonas Omero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Tximitx in the 68th minute of the match. Celedonio Montez hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ferruccio Trinca put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonas Omero. In the 77th minute, Ferruccio Trinca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jonas Omero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Trinca in the 87th minute of the match. Jonas Omero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Fiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Ferruccio Trinca notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Domínguez's Jonas Omero. Jonas Omero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zacarias Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
