Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Tallia in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Domínguez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ELPOLLOMASRICO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Domínguez's Dante Cibran got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jonas Omero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Che, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domínguez's Jonas Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Che in the 22nd minute of play. Joel Mikelats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Veto in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Enrique Tallia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Omero was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Domínguez's zone, Enrique Tallia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Omero came out of the goal and Enrique Tallia tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 45th minute, Claudio Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

ELPOLLOMASRICO made a substitution. Gaudencio Frans replaced Amado Hodei. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Tallia to make the kick off. ELPOLLOMASRICO's Joel Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Veto in the 58th minute of play. Leandro Gartzen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Celedonio Montez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Mikelats. ELPOLLOMASRICO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Montez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jonas Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Tallia, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. ELPOLLOMASRICO's Marcos Bittencourt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonas Omero but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Tallia in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Omero saved Domínguez from getting behind. Justo Veto succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. ELPOLLOMASRICO's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Domínguez had won, even though ELPOLLOMASRICO had held more of the ball.
