In the 39th minute Bernardino Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Modestio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Sedeni hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bernardino Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palmita AFC's Bernardino Ignatius got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Modestio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Jacindo's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Jacindo to make the kick off. If Fabiano Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Bernardino Jacindo made a precise shot to the right of Isaias Modestio. LA BANDA DE LA TIA CAUITA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Bernardino Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Modestio having to interfere. A well placed Bernardino Jacindo short distance shot in the 75th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Palmita AFC made a substitution. Luis Dino replaced Ambrosio Txartiko. The supporters of Palmita AFC booed when LA BANDA DE LA TIA CAUITA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Modestio having to interfere. If Bernardino Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Fabiano Teixeira took a quick shot and it went in 2-8 without a chance for Isaias Modestio to make any attempt to save it. Palmita AFC played a much better game than LA BANDA DE LA TIA CAUITA and deserved their victory. The LA BANDA DE LA TIA CAUITA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
