Spectators: 6543 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teodosio Gerazan got the match started through his kick off. The Cerro Monje fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Cerro Monje's Ariel Gutierrez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teodosio Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Gerazan in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Cerro Monje got a freekick which was hit by Felix Jayvier. Ariel Gutierrez struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Celestino Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerro Monje. In the 28thth minute of the game Ariel Gutierrez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monifunebrera's Celestino Ramirez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Monifunebrera's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Gerazan came free, but Celestino Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Gerazan in the 33rd minute of play forced Monifunebrera's goalkeeper Celestino Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Monifunebrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Eriz to maneuver through the defense. Felix Jayvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Gutierrez in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Ramirez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Fernan Matteo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Lucjan Damaski to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Gau was the one to do the kick off. Teodosio Gerazan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Cerro Monje's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ariel Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teodosio Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Celestino Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Gelmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Ramirez having to interfere. Ariel Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Celestino Ramirez made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Teodosio Gerazan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celestino Ramirez. Teodosio Gerazan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After 82 played minutes Cerro Monje got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Gerazan. Lucjan Damaski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Ariel Gutierrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerro Monje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. If Herminio Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Monifunebrera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cerro Monje were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
