Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5003, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saul Romano took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Chicago FC's Jacobo Dabi got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stewart Morrell in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Claude prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Domingo Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Omar Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chicago FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Aristides Senin hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Bonifacio Berdoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Stewart Morrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 minutes, Kurt Somnitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Badajos and the Chicago FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Badajos's Kurt Somnitz got a free kick in the 29th minute. During the 35th minute of the match Kurt Somnitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kurt Somnitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Chicago FC booed when Badajos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Somnitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Stewart Morrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Stewart Morrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stewart Morrell took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Claude. Omar Claude dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Badajos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Omar Claude, was totally fooled by Chicago FC's Stewart Morrell, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 61st minute, Badajos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stewart Morrell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Stewart Morrell came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Chicago FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stewart Morrell couldn't finish the play. Omar Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stewart Morrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to Chicago FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bonifacio Berdoi hit a great ball. If Ariando Bernia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes in the game Ariando Bernia got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Ariando Bernia struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Omar Claude didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicago FC. When the final whistle sounded Chicago FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Badajos.
