Damian Lopes started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Forres's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Austin came free, but Cayetano Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Columbo's late challenge caught a Forres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Columbo helped the player get up and apologised. Ovidio Columbo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Anier Domeka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Bide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alberto Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Forres's Severino Beturian in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. Cayetano Damario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Sandalio in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Gervasio Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Damario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Damian Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Damario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Forres's Bernabe Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Bide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ildefonso Bide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karlos Villavicencio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Alberto Claude, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Artemio Austin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cayetano Damario. Artemio Austin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 58th match minute, Forres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Faron to maneuver through the defense. Severino Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ildefonso Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Efrain Bonadona hit a great ball. Severino Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Severino Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Gervasio Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Forres booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Sandalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Fidele's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 89 minutes of play, Racing Club's Gervasio Sandalio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Damario was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Claude to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Bide made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Anier Domeka sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
