Spectators: 6633 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mauro Guter kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Guter in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Ubendu saved Fernández FC from getting behind. Narciso Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Anastasio Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Gualterio Bidun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Garcia. Rincón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Bidun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Fernández FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Santana came free, but Victorino Ubendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rincón's Mauro Guter in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fernández FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Dei in the 40th minute of play forced Rincón's goalkeeper Narciso Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Rincón got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Rami. Gualter Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Ubendu having to interfere. Ademar Garcia took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Ubendu. Victorino Ubendu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Gimenez to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Fernández FC's goalkeeper Victorino Ubendu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Blanco. Victorino Ubendu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Guter in the 56th minute. Mauro Guter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Victorino Ubendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Ubendu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Santana in the 62nd minute of the match. Victorino Ubendu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Rincón got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Montrelle. Eustacio Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Aquilino Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Ubendu having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Carlos Gimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fernández FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Gualter Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Ubendu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Victorino Ubendu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aquilino Blanco sent off a good shot on target. Aquilino Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernández FC's Victorino Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Santana in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Rincón's Mauro Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Ubendu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The Rincón fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Rincón's Gualter Santana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Gualter Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rincón's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Ubendu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rincón were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fernández FC to leave the ground with a draw.
