A collision led to Sarmiento getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Honorato Beila hit a great ball. Ademar Garcia lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 18 minutes into the game, one of Rincón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Narciso Garcia, was totally fooled by Sarmiento's Martin Sanduru, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 27 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Martin Sanduru. Gualter Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gustavo Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Bizen in the 31st minute of the match. Honorato Beila hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Isidro Illan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Narciso Garcia made a huge save. In the 42nd minute Elpidio Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Bizen in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Bizen made a kick off. Rincón's Narciso Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Chinto in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Aquilino Blanco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 71 minutes into the game, Elpidio Bizen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Narciso Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gualter Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Honorato Beila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0.
