With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Garaona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Efraim in the 45th minute of play forced El Provincial's goalkeeper Nunez Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Instead of passing the ball, Domingo Silvanito made a really hard long shot towards goal. Castex FC's Nicasio Mel realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. The supporters of El Provincial booed when Castex FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When Domingo Silvanito came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the El Provincial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Silvanito couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute Stewart Watkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Stewart Watkinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castex FC's Nicasio Mel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Castex FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
