An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Tomás Iraunkor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Hermengildo Bras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cullen's Pablo Janpier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Bras to strike the kick off in the second half. When Flavio Gonchan fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cullen's protests and gave Flavio Gonchan a yellow card for diving instead. Cintra's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Bras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Janpier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Bras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Janpier was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Pablo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Bras in the 83rd minute of play. Pablo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Cintra's Hermengildo Bras in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cullen's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cintra had played much better football throughout.
