Mercedes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maruchas the free kick. Domingos Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mercedes FC's Urbano Menendo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Aaron Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Vicente Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mercedes FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Simon Nerio hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Mercedes FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Cresencio. Octavio Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Araoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Quexal to make the kick off. After 62 played minutes Maruchas got a freekick which was hit by Benito Natanael. Urbano Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Octavio Matia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Abechuco went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Maruchas's Eleuterio Quexal got a free kick in the 89th minute. Octavio Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Araoz in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Abechuco in the 96th minute of play forced Maruchas's goalkeeper Octavio Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maruchas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mercedes FC had won, even though Maruchas had held more of the ball.
