Salvador Qwinton made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Edelmiro Marko sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Gaspar Ubendu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hannover 1985's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luchertola FC the free kick. Luchertola FC made a substitution. Maximiliano Abreu replaced Dario Mantzio. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Abreu couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edelmiro Marko made the kick off in the second half. Lucas Nabar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Abreu's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Hannover 1985's Hermengildo Eztebe got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of Luchertola FC booed when Hannover 1985 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
