Vasco Fútbol Club's Eduardo Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carlos Oalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Godoy AFC's zone, Eduardo Macias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Oalo came out of the goal and Eduardo Macias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Damian Lalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godoy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasco Fútbol Club the free kick. In the 28th minute, Damian Lalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Florentino Olando came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vasco Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Olando couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Ferrando took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Oalo. Carlos Oalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Eduardo Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Carlos Oalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Maties struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Petruț Trifu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godoy AFC. Carlos Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Orlondo in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Maties was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Eduardo Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasco Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Macias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Oalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Olando in the 57th minute of play forced Godoy AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Oalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Godoy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Orlondo came free, but Carlos Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Ferrando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Oalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Fabricio Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Orlondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Oalo having to interfere. Cornelio Orlondo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Hilario Rolado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Oalo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Uriel Natanael hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Florentino Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Vasco Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cornelio Orlondo hit a great ball. Carlos Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Olando in the 91st minute of play. Petruț Trifu came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Godoy AFC's Romulo Maties. But to his dismay, Romulo Maties quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
