Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 9th minute, Arnulfo Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Cordarryl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Kynov's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The Gallito AFC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Gallito AFC's Isaac Lluques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teodoro Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Wennerqvist in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Kris Kynov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Cordarryl. Gallito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kris Kynov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 34 played minutes A.A.Leones del Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Dodorol. Humberto Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Avellaneda in the 35th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Avellaneda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Joachim hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, A.A.Leones del Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Ler to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Kynov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Stanimir Grebenarov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Cordarryl. Stanimir Grebenarov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Gallito AFC's Teodoro Cordarryl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Gallito AFC from getting a goal against them. After 76 minutes of play, A.A.Leones del Oeste's Marcos Mincho made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Cordarryl was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Marcos Mincho got free in front of the goal in the 79th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Teodoro Cordarryl was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Gallito AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ceferino Rumaldo hit a great ball. Teodoro Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Mincho in the 86th minute of play. Gallito AFC's Teodoro Cordarryl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Gallito AFC from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Mincho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over A.A.Leones del Oeste could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gallito AFC throughout the match.
