LOS PIRATAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Gomesano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Sal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Savion was the one to do the kick off. Jeronimo Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LOS PIRATAS's Santos Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Savion in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Guaberto Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS PIRATAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Gomesano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairo Chus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Rogelio Sal made a huge save. After 58 minutes of play, La Pampa Funebrera's Placido Savion made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Licerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jacobo Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes La Pampa Funebrera got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Stephen. In the 69th minute Jacobo Gaueko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Erubiel Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Sal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rogelio Sal made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jairo Chus sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Sal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Gaueko in the 82nd minute. The referee showed Eloy Cordario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle sounded LOS PIRATAS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Pampa Funebrera.
