After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Severo Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pope Francis's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Celino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Otsoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lisandro Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Guemes Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Ortzi couldn't finish the play. Ignacio Ixidor struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Cirilo Otsoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pope Francis. When Severo Celino came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pope Francis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Celino couldn't finish the play. Severo Celino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cirilo Otsoa made a huge save. When Pope Francis's Ignacio Ixidor in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guemes Junior's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 played minutes Pope Francis got a freekick which was hit by Silvo Viklund. If Leandro Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Sá came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guemes Junior's Marcos Baraquiel. But to his dismay, Marcos Baraquiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Ignacio Ixidor came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Pope Francis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Ixidor couldn't finish the play. If Ignacio Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Celino got free with Cirilo Otsoa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severo Celino in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cirilo Otsoa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cirilo Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Severo Celino sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Guemes Junior's Marcos Baraquiel got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Leo Bernaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cirilo Otsoa skillfully saved the ball. The Pope Francis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guemes Junior were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Ixidor made a kick off. Cirilo Otsoa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Pope Francis's Severo Celino. But to his dismay, Severo Celino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ignacio Ixidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Otsoa having to make a save. Severo Celino took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirilo Otsoa. Cirilo Otsoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 67 minutes in the game Domingos Errando did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marcos Baraquiel. Ignacio Ixidor succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. 79 minutes into the match, Severo Celino notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Guemes Junior's Cirilo Otsoa. Cirilo Otsoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 minutes, Domingos Errando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guemes Junior and the Pope Francis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Errando hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Roman Indartsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cirilo Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute of the match Leo Bernaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cirilo Otsoa skillfully saved the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Guemes Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Ixidor came free, but Cirilo Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Pope Francis players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
