Spectators: 7076 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 25) Roque Theodore started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Club Atlético Belgrano's 范光岚 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 范光岚 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atlético Belgrano protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 范光岚 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Instituto's Sebastian Orlo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mauricio Hechter, made in the 8th minute of the game. Eusebio Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Daunte in the 9th minute of play. If Jonas Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Theodore was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Instituto's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jonas Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Tartalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Isias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Gudesteo in the 21st minute of play forced Instituto's goalkeeper Baldomero Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Belgrano's Eusebio Ekialde got control of the ball when Esteban Daunte tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Benjamin Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Esteban Daunte came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Instituto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Daunte couldn't finish the play. Isidro Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Isias having to interfere. Sebastian Orlo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Belgrano's Ambrosio Urtun got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomero Isias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Urbasa went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Gudesteo to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Benjamin Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Instituto's Baldomero Isias got control of the ball when Benjamin Gudesteo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Tartalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Isias having to make a save. In the 61st minute Benjamin Gudesteo suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Sebastian Orlo's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Orlo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Instituto getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Sebastian Orlo hit a great ball. Jonas Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Baldomero Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Belgrano's Eusebio Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Daunte in the 67th minute of play. Jonas Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Isias having to interfere. Jonas Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonas Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th match minute, Instituto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Orlo to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, 马泉凡 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Instituto got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Edwardo. A hard and well directed shot from Ambrosio Urtun led 94 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Instituto's Baldomero Isias became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. When the match was over Club Atlético Belgrano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Instituto throughout the match.
